Curriculum
Little Peaks Learning Center provides a strong curriculum for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Our learning is centered around STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) with a mix of other learning philosophies such as Waldorf and Creative Play. STEM fosters critical thinking, creativity, and collaborative problem-solving through hands-on, interdisciplinary learning. It transforms traditional subjects into real-world applications, encouraging children to think like innovators, embrace failure as a learning process, and engage deeply with complex tasks.
There is a powerful link between STEM and early childhood. Young children are natural-born engineers and scientists. In the STEM approach, science, technology, engineering, and math are a part of everything we do in the classroom.
Science - Study of the physical and natural world
Technology - Use of tools, systems, and processes to solve problems
Engineering - Designing and building
Math - Language of numbers, shapes, and patterns for measuring
